John “Jack” Joseph Joyce, 65, of West Berlin, N.J., formerly of Cherry Hill, N.J., passed away suddenly on April 15, 2022.
Beloved husband of the late Kathleen Joyce (nee Simon). Dear son of the late John J. Joyce and Patricia Joyce of Stratford, NJ. Loving father “Pops” of Jay Joyce (Kristen) of Haddonfield, Jennifer Stephens (Ryan) of Haddon Township, Katelyn Flaherty (Anthony) of Cherry Hill and Bentley (his spoiled Yorkie). Dear brother of Patricia Ori (Pat), Clare Kenney (Ray), Daniel Joyce, Colleen Marchinek (Bob) and Maureen Joyce (Mark). Adoring grandfather “Pop-pop” of Jack, Kane, Leo, Camryn and Finn. Jack is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jack was a mechanical contracting consultant who specialized as a third party building commissioner. He was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union 322 for more than 40 years. He was also a longtime member of the South Jersey Mechanical Contractors Association and Tavistock Country Club in Haddonfield, N.J. where he loved playing golf with friends. More than anything, Jack was a doting family man who loved his children and grandchildren fiercely and would do anything for them. While he was raising his family, each and every morning before leaving for work, he’d say to his children: “Be a do-gooder." He was a loyal and loving man. Jack spent more than 40 loving years with his high school sweetheart and wife, Kathy. Prior to her passing, Jack and Kathy loved spending summers in Wildwood Crest, attending Phillies games, concerts and shows, dining, dancing, smiling and laughing.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Tuesday, April 26th from 5 to 8 PM at JACKSON FUNERAL HOME, 308 Haddon Avenue, Haddon Township, N.J and Wednesday, April 27th from 9 to 10:30 AM at ST. VINCENT PALLOTTI CHURCH at 901 Hopkins Rd., Haddon Twp., NJ.
Family eulogy will begin promptly at 10:30 AM, followed by the Funeral Liturgy.
Entombment, Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jack’s memory can be made to the Kathleen Anne Joyce Education Foundation at P.O. Box 3871, Cherry Hill, N.J. 08034.

We were fortunate to meet both your Dad and Mom during our soccer days with Jay and our son Doug. They were such wonderful people. Jack always had a big smile and never had a bad word to say. The perfect gentleman! Ron would see him at Tavistock and he would always laugh and joke about his golf game. He loved being on he course. His smile and his personality will be missed. We know how much he loved all of you, his children and grandchildren. Our thoughts prayers and love go out to each and everyone of you. I know he will be with your mom watching over all of you with that beautiful smile. You are in our thoughts and prayers. With Love Ron and Sandy Cusick and family
