JJohn Job, 84, passed away on January 15, 2024. He was born on July 15, 1939, in Jamestown, ND, to the late Louis Job Sr and Lydia Marzolf Job. John attended Jamestown High School where he received his education. After graduation, John proudly served in the US Navy for 3 years. After his military service, John married and started a family. He pursued a successful career in sales and marketing, working for major manufacturers and suppliers such as Sears, Hamilton Beach, Intellectron, Moulinex, Mr. Coffee, and others. John and his family lived in various states over time, and he travelled extensively on business. When he retired, he lived in California and Florida, where he enjoyed the sun and the beach. He spent the last several years near family in Kansas and Texas.

John will be remembered for his ability to bring laughter to any situation. He was always ready with a joke and never lost his sense of humor.

John cherished his family and is survived by his daughters Sarah Proctor (David), Yvonne Job-Figueroa (Michael), Nancy Johnson (Frank), Victoria Hanrahan, and his first wife and friend, Rose Anne "Sue" Cunningham. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. John is also survived by his sisters Gayle Procko (Ted), Betty McPherson, and his brother David Job. He was preceded in death by his parents, his second wife, Phyllis, brothers Luverne Job, Louis Job Jr. and Gary Job, sister Shirley Hall and grandson Austin Proctor.

The family will be celebrating John's life in personal ways in lieu of a service. If you wish to send condolences, please post online or you can send notes in care of Sarah Proctor, 4005 Brownwood Lane, Arlington, TX 76017.

John's memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
