I remember in 4th grade when he told me his full legal name and that his middle name was spelled Eff. And in high school when he got a very high score on this test we had to take.

I knew Johnny from a few classes at NWR and band, even though I was a member of the band only for a few years. Nevertheless, I recall his spirit to be a kind one with a gentle smile always. My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

Johnny always had a smile on his face. He was such a kind and gentle soul. He will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I remember Johnny and John. At NWR, I knew him as Johnny. At Hinds I knew him as John. Strangely we both wound up at HVAC school together. I can attest John was always one of the most intelligent in the room. He was always helping other students and hungry for knowledge. I always think of him in high regards

Johnny and I were in band together. He was always the sweetest person - not a mean bone in his body. Since he played trombone and I played percussion, there was always a joke about me crashing symbols right behind where the trombones were. He had a wonderful smile and it will be missed.
