Uncle Jack was my Dad's brother and has always had a special place in my heart. I have many wonderful memories of him, including attending my wedding in 1986 and giving me a special piece of his artwork that is one of my most cherished possessions. He will be sorely missed.

I had the privilege of knowing John for a few years during our time at the UNLV fine arts department. John was a kind gentle person, always very supportive of the students and faculty. He always had a smile and a nice thing to say. I wish I had known of his great sacrifice and service for our country, so to have thanked him personally.
Thanks John, and may God comfort your family.
