My car would not start today. My first thought was that John would come right over and either fix it or tell me what to do. Maybe it was just to remind me of him. It starts now. We miss you, John. God hold you in his arms, Cheryl.

I wish I had known John better. Such a sweet, positive and helpfulman. Would come over and diagnose our son's car any time. Not much over a year ago, we went to see Kinneys, and John was laying pavers around the patio as if it was just another day. We see how brave and positive Cheryl is in adjusting to her new life. Love from Leslie and David.

I just heard of John's passing through a mutual work-friend. We were work-mates at a body shop in Minneapolis back in the old days. John was a genuine, friendly good man. He was honestly sincere to a fault. He would always address strangers as "friend", for which I would tease him all the time. He is missed. Rest in peace, friend.

I will always remember my cousin John for his truly joyful soul, for his smile and his great sense of humor. He will be very missed but warm and wonderful memories of him live on with all of us.
Rest in peace John

My heart goes out to the Kinney family. I met John in kindergarten when we moved into the neighborhood, just three houses away from John. I have so many amazing memories and shared so many experiences with John from summer camping trips, to playing in their back lot, riding our bikes at the jumps, soccer, cub scouts, building tree forts, my first beer, hundreds of sleep overs, skipping school to watch the high school hockey tournament and my caught us, and so many more. Thoughts and prayers are with your family John, may you Rest In Peace old friend.
