OBITUARY: JOHN S. KOPKA JR. John S. Kopka, Jr., 95, of Nashua, passed away on Sunday September 6, 2009 at the Greenbriar Terrace Healthcare. John was born in Nashua on October 13, 1913 a son of the late John S. Sr. & Sofia (Gacek) Kopka. He was a loving and devoted husband to Rep. Angeline (Landry) Kopka of Nashua. John was a lifelong resident of Nashua and he was a 1933 graduate of Nashua High School. Prior to his retirement, John had been an appraiser for Kopka Real Estate. He was a member and past president of the Board of Realtors, a member and past vice president of the AFL-CIO of NH and a member of the Royal Arcanum. John was a communicant of St. Patrick Church. He was predeceased by three sisters; Josephine, Helen and Mary as well as four brothers; Walter, Joseph, Benjamin and Theodore. Besides his wife of 74 years, John is survived by; One son; John S. Kopka III of Hampton, NH One daughter; Janice Geno and her husband Merrill of Brookline, NH Seven grandchildren; Susan Canavan, Michael G. Kopka, Michael J. Kopka, Jennifer O'Blenis, Caleb Geno, Joshua Geno and Tamarra Geno Eight great-grandchildren One brother; Edmond Kopka of Nashua One sister; Victoria Obin of Nashua Also several nieces, nephews and cousins SERVICES: Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday September 9, 2009 from 4 to 7 PM in the ANCTIL-ROCHETTE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 21 Kinsley St., Nashua, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday September 10, 2009 in St. Patrick Church, 29 Spring St., Nashua, NH at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery.
