John KWOSSEK Obituary
July 2, 1933 - February 7, 2014
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of John Paul Kwossek of Barrhead, AB announces his passing on February 7, 2014.
John is survived by his loving wife of nearly 48 years, Renate; his children, Renata (Don), John Jr. (Jennifer), Monica (Daniel), and Lee (Pam); his grandchildren Connor, Matthew and Wyatt; his sister Helena (Virginio); niece Teresa; eight step- grandchildren and many relatives and friends. John was predeceased by his parents John and Emilie Kwossek; son-in- law Bradley Surcan and nephew Raymond Brieda.
A gathering of family and friends to Celebrate John's Life will be held at the St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church in Barrhead on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Martin Jubinville officiating. Interment at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery at Lac La Nonne, AB. Anyone wishing to do so may make a memorial donation to Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, c/o E. Deschepper, R.R.#1, Site 27, Box 6, Gunn, AB, T0E 1A0 or STARS Foundation, 1441 Aviation Park, NE, Box 570, Calgary, AB T2E 9Z9.

Dear Renata,
I am so sorry to hear your dad passed away. I didn't know your father but do know how hard it is to lose a father.
No matter how ready we think we are we are never ready to lose a parent. You never get over the loss but I think they deserve to be mourned and remembered and missed every day.
My regret is to not be there for you today as we are out of the country. Hugs from John and me.

I was so sad to hear of Uncle John's passing. I will remember him fondly with our many trips out to the farm when we were kids. Sending my love and condolences to Auntie Renate, John Jr., Reneé, Monica and Lee and their extended families. He lived a long and beautiful life. He will be truly missed by those who cherished and loved him.
