Betty Jean Hall Obituary
She was born March 6, 1948 in Forsyth County, a daughter of Arthur Manuel and Mary Pauline Godbey Phelps. She married Mark Winter Allen Hall in 1984. He preceded her in death in 2006.
She was also preceded in death by one granddaughter.
Surviving are two children Larry W. Sapp Jr., Tanya Jeannette Young; two step children, Jason Hall and Dana Rudzitis; 11 grandchildren; one brother, Calvin Arthur Phelps; one sister Elizabeth Ann Styers; and numerous extended family.
Betty Jean previously worked at Unifi Inc., R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, and retired from Renegade Tobacco Company as Head of Quality Control.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Frank Vogler and Sons Clemmons Chapel in Clemmons. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday. Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Park in Winston-Salem.
