John Leary

John E. Leary passed away at his home in Valley Springs on November 21, 2011. He is survived by his children, Dan, Kathy and Jody, grandchildren, Michaelann, Johnny, Christine, Erin and Donny, great grandchildren Kharder, Emma and Reagan. He also leaves behind his step daughter, Rayetta Burr, step son Greg Watson (Judy), step grandchildren, Bryan and Evan Watson. John was born and raised in Stockton with his two brothers and sister, Alyse. John is preceded in death by his wife Fritz Leary. He was a Captain in the Stockton Fire Department along with his brothers, Bill and Bob Leary. He retired after 32 years of service. In his retirement, he enjoyed Golfing and horse racing. Funeral Services will be held at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel, 7676 Shoreline Dr. Stockton on November 29, 2011 at 11 AM Visitation will take place on November 28, 2011 from 10 AM to 5 PM at DeYoung Shoreline Chapel. Committal at San Joaquin Catholic Cemetery.
