I met John in 2018 at a new job and have worked with him since then and had become great friends and co-workers. We would travel the country side to state fairs from June through October enjoying our time together working and socializing. We enjoyed all the hard work and our travels together making great memories. This was John and Katherine walking up the trail of Mount Rainier and also Johns favorite bar and restaurant in Louisville Kentucky called the Troll. We made some great memories and you will never be forgotten John. I wish I could help celebrate with all of you, but I myself am recovering from cancer surgery and am not allowed to travel at this time. You will always be my friend and we will me again in a better place. GOD BLESS!!!

Dear dear John, you certainly had a zest for life. Now you are up up and away. Sailing the seas and flying through the sky. We loved sharing in your joy and all that life had to offer. You will live in our memory always. Taking the Camero for a wild ride in Clearwater, such fun. Love Pat and Garry

It took my breath away the day you died. I´m still struggling to speak. My best friend for 13 years, tied at the hip and the heart. It´s so quiet without you. There is a hush where you once stood. And yet I can still hear your voice.
I took this picture of you, as significant to me then as it is today. I gasped when I saw it here. It captures the essence of you, the joy, the lightness, the playfulness. You have a cigar in your hand, always a source of happiness.
You knew how to live. An adventurer to the core. The world was your playground, you explored it all. And you shared that zest for living with all who crossed your path. If we could grasp just 1 percent of that, we would have a life well lived. (I´m listening.)
Thank you for blessing my life with yours. Friends to the end. And beyond. So much more to say ...
I love you John Leonard. And miss you terribly.
