I wish I would have been able to get home to say goodbye. Thank you Uncle John for everything you tried to teach me. I hope I made you proud in the end.

L'm so sorry to hear of johns passing, he was my good friend l tried getting ahold of him over the past year to no avail..may he rest in peace and be with his many war buddies that he missed so much,,God bless you John, you truely were one of the good guys..

Sorry to hear of John's passing, I worked with him for a few years in the eighties. We had many good times and laughs. When asked about his military experience, he would always say (jokingly) that, "most of my active service was spent at a dance hall in Edmonton." John was a great guy.
