John LOVERIDGE Obituary
Passed away at home on March 20, 2013. Predeceased by his parents Edward Loveridge and Agnes Boychuk and step father Frank Boychuk. Loved brother of Marilee Gignac. Predeceased by siblings Arlene and Gregory. Dear uncle of Laurie Casagrande (Dino), Kerry Gignac (Lois). Christopher (Allison), Trevor and Jeffery Loveridge. Great uncle to Brandon Kolody (Debbie) Brittany Kerr (Jason), Mattthew Kolody, Adam Gignac and their families.
John was very proud of his Military background and had served with the Canadian Armed Forces as a Paratrooper with the Princess Patricia Infantry.
Visitation will take place at the
Victoria Greenlawn Funeral Home,
1525 Hwy 3 (1km west of Walker Road)

on Monday, March 25, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Online condolences may be left at

I wish I would have been able to get home to say goodbye. Thank you Uncle John for everything you tried to teach me. I hope I made you proud in the end.

L'm so sorry to hear of johns passing, he was my good friend l tried getting ahold of him over the past year to no avail..may he rest in peace and be with his many war buddies that he missed so much,,God bless you John, you truely were one of the good guys..

Sorry to hear of John's passing, I worked with him for a few years in the eighties. We had many good times and laughs. When asked about his military experience, he would always say (jokingly) that, "most of my active service was spent at a dance hall in Edmonton." John was a great guy.
