There are so many memories that it would be impossible to put them all in writing. We met Ann and Jim Bethel last night for dinner and Ann told me about John. My heart was just broken. The first thing I thought of was you Sandy. I am so sorry. I can't even imagine how you are coping right now. We have been out of touch for many years but you and John have always been in my thoughts. Much love to you and your family. My e-mail address is sarahmisty4 @ Hotmail.com. Please write when and if you can. I will be thinking of you. Love, Sarah

Sandy and Family,
So sorry to hear of John's passing. I thought of the last time I saw the two of you, with Shawn, and her children, was at the Green Chapel car show. He took my 3 yo granddaughter, Madeline for a ride in his very fast wheelchair. Always had a good sense of humor. Lot's of wonderful memories of times spent with the Akron Chapel's TLC class, and our outings. I will be praying for God's comfort for you, and your family in the days ahead. Love to you.

Mr. Lund was an inspiration to those with those with ALS. It was such an honor to be a part of his care. He lived his life with great humility and optimism. We are all saddened about his passing. May God comfort you during this difficult time.
With deepest sympathy,

A good husband, a great brother-in-law and a wonderful friend to many, John will be missed. Tall in stature and with a deep voice--John made his presence known wherever he went. He had a good heart and loved the Lord.
John loved teaching the Bible and share his faith with anyone who would listen. He also loved to run! We can almost see him running in Heaven, straight into the arms of the Lord, but without the restraints of ALS. At the finish line it is certain he heard the Lord cheer him on: "Well done, good and faithful servant."
We love you John!
