John W. "Jack" Lyons, of Scituate, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on January 23, 2017.

He was the beloved husband of Mary (Lanagan) Lyons. Dad of Christine (John) Peterson of CT, Elizabeth (Andrew) Vitols of VA, Meagan Lyons of Scituate and John Michael (Stephanie) Lyons of OR. Grandpa of Cate, Jack and Jenevieve of CT, Ellie and Ned of VA and Taylor, Brady and Finn of OR.

Brother in law of Anne (Edward) Hines, Charles (Joan) Lanagan, Thomas (Jane) Lanagan and the late Sallie (Bill) Weiss of NH. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

At Jack's request, services will be held privately and a celebration of his life will be held in the spring.
