John was such a wonderful man. I so looked forward to his visits during the holidays and will always remember him and my Naina speaking Polish together! My heartfelt condolences to Joan and the rest of his family and friends.

Jo -
We will always remember John as the distinguished gentleman in tweeds and a wool cap, who loved classical music and good conversation. John was caring, thoughtful, unselfish, and always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. We are grateful for the time we were able to spend with him and are honored that we knew him. John is a classic example of the Greatest Generation.

Our deepest sympathies to John's family & friends. I grew up in Presston a few doors away. Mom still lives in Presston 63 years & sends her deepest condolences. John was a great American, neighbor & person. Presston & the world were better for his life. May you enjoy the peace that passes all understanding that we will see him in heaven. All the best, Wayne Masters & the Masters family.

We are so sorry for your loss Joan! I can still remember the 1st time I met John and the first word that came to mind was "dapper" ... such a handsome, wonderful man. The world was a better place with him in it!! He will be missed!

John was one hell of a nice guy. I not only sold him cars but remained friends with him for a long, long time. We had many lenghy talks which I will really miss. Joan, along with his family, will miss him more than words can say. Nothing but good things to say about John. Fortunately, he is in a better place now.
