I was saddened to hear the news of John's passing. I have had the pleasure of working with John during his time w/ GAF. He was a kind and gracious man, always seemed to have a story or two,and he will be missed greatly. My condolences to his family...& his friends... My thoughts & prayers are with you all. May you feel the presence of God's peace and gentleness surround you at this time.

My deepest and sincere sympathy goes out to the Makar family on the sudden loss of John. He was more than my co-worker at GAF, he was a true friend and a great guy. I will always remember John for his wit, humor, committment to honor and most of all his insight and conversations about life and family. He will be truly missed.

My condolences to the entire Makar family on John's sudden passing. I feel truly blessed to have spent time with John, working at GAF. John had an amazing ability to always find the silver lining and his glass more then half full attitude was an unforgetable gift. I vision his smiling face, his enourmous caring heart and his huge presence eternally guarding us all. Thank you for sharing John. God Bless.
