He is survived by his daughter Frances Joan (James C.) Hardy of Ormond Beach, Fl, two grandchildren Lauren Kimberly (CB) Grubbs of Thomasville, GA and John (Pam) Hardy, Sr. of Jacksonville Beach, FL and four great-grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth (Tyler) Carroll and James Walker Grubbs Of Thomasville, GA and John B. Hardy, Jr.and James Morel Hardy both of Jacksonville Beach, FL.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Tuesday January 15, 2013 at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 548 N. Nova Rd. Ormond Beach, FL. A committal service will be held at 2:30PM at Volusia Memorial Park, 550 N. Nova Rd, Ormond Beach, FL.
Memorial Donations may be made in his memory to Community Baptist Church, Childrens Fund, Old Dixie Highway, Bunnell, FL.
Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.volusiamemorialfunerals.com. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, Ormond Beach, FL.

John Malaspina was a good friend and mentor to me and many other employees throughout the years at Hudson Tool & Die. He shared his wisdom and knowledge freely with everone associated with the Company. His efforts and dedication contributed to the success of Hudson's ability to produce quality products in today's market. Most of all, John's love for his family were evident in the many conversations enjoyed by me over the years! Fair well my friend!
