Dear Deb and Gene,
We are so sorry to hear that your Dad passed away. I will always remember him for his wonderful smile and happy nature, and of course, his delicious cooking. He will be greatly missed.

He called Homestead, Pennsylvania the "Eighth Wonder of the World!" Of Philly's Italian Market, he said "You can get everything there! And I mean EVERYTHING!!!". When he told of his forays into the dating scene (well after his beloved Leona had passed) he made us laugh so hard we would cry. He was a man equally at home making spaghetti in the kitchen as he was discussing the physics of string theory with scientists. John Marcone was a true mensch, and the world is a poorer place without him in it.

Marcone Family

you don't know me, but I worked with John at ASKO many years ago. I remember talking with him for hours, and listening to Jerry Vale in Louie Perla's van at lunch time. He was a good fella, and I enjoyed being his buddy.
You have my deepest sympathy

Debbie & Genie,
I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. He was such a brave soldier and he is finally at rest. I'm so sorry he had to suffer to get to this point and I know you will really miss him. He was such a wonderful man. I was only 18 years old when I met him, but boy what a privledge because he extended such kindness to me not just then but anytime I saw him. If there's anything I can do, please let me know and you will be in my prayers.
Love, Mary Devine
