I worked for many years for Mr. Margolis at the Metropolitan as did my Mother and Grandmother. A good man that offered many oppotunities to a young man working his way through school. That job allowed me to be the first in my family to get a college education. I worked with his son Johnny and Cathy. My deepest sympathy.

It was always a pleasure to do business with Mr. Margolis at D.H. Peer Ltd. What a nice friendly man he was and he never put any pressure on a customer to make a purchase. In addition he always had quality, tasteful merchandise. I once made a purchase at a Joseph A. Bank store when I was living in Atlanta and when the I told the salesman I was from Dayton he immediately mentioned D.H. Peer. He then said that he had bought a suit there once and was very impressed. My condolences to the family.
