John Robert Marlin

John Robert Marlin (6/1962 - 10/2024), age 62 from Norwood, PA (a DelCo man) passed away peacefully in his sleep from complications of cancer on October 20th, 2024. John possessed the most amazing dry humor and would leave everyone around him laughing when things got too serious. He was passionate about Jeopardy, crossword puzzles, movies, football and baseball. He enjoyed running the local football pool even before software was available for tracking. The sports statistics he knew made John an expert in the field. John was a gifted carpenter and his work was enjoyed by many residences around the tri-state area of PA/DE/NJ. John was also a very caring and thoughtful friend, cheering up and caring for many of those around him. John is survived by his, father, Arthur Charles Marlin Sr., mother, Janet Lois Bergdoll, brother Arthur Charles Marlin Jr, nephew Arthur Charles Marlin III, great nephews Brandon Marlin and Grayson Marlin, sister Kathy Elaine Keefe, brother-in-law David Keefe, also sister Dorothy (Dee) Marlin. Niece Erika Nicole Strickland, great nephew Nathan Samuel Cagliola Jr, nieces Jessica Anne Strickland and Catherine Amber Furey. Also longtime friend Carrie Hamilton and special friend Rick Flick.
