Hi Robin,

This is Ramesh. I called John's number about 2 weeks ago and again 2 days ago, but no answer. First time I thought that he will call back. But since he did not call me back even after the 2nd call, I got concerned and checked on Google and saw the bad news. I am very sorry that John passed away. We became very close friends while we worked at Northrop Grumman, first at College Park and then in Gaithersburg. We would go out for a lunch time walk and pick nails and screws, if we saw one, from road to prevent car tire punctures. He was such an honest and plain speaking person, and always helping his staff. I have not met another person like John in all my life. I am really-really going to miss him. May God bless him.

Dear Mrs. Masino,

I am sorry to hear the news about your beloved husband. John hired me in 1985 to join his field service group at Litton-Amecom. John was the best manager anybody could wish for. Seven field service guys worked on the WASHFAX III, Fastfax, and TDF programs. John employed a minimalist management style. If a problem arose in our group, he had a standard response - "handle it". John was the opposite of a micro manager, and everybody appreciated him for it. He trusted our judgment. We saw John once a week when visiting our building to deliver our paper checks.
