John McCann Obituary
Patrick was born April 13, 1966, in Indianapolis, In. to the late John Francis and Mary Louise (Cummins) McCann Jr.
Patrick attended St. Therese Little Flower Catholic School and Indian Creek High School.
He was by trade a Marble and Tile Setter for Milne Construction and Santa Rosa, building mausoleums across the United States. He could tell you many things about the marble he was working with. Later working for himself and doing other various jobs. He loved his family, sons, and numerous friends. Patrick loved adventures. He enjoyed going to Lake James and Brown County, and other points beyond, going fishing, bowling, boating, making people laugh, creating things, and finally an avid sports fan especially of the Chicago Bears where he would often answer his phone as "George Halas" (the founder of the Bears) Headquarters!!
His sons National Guardsman Steven Patrick (Cora Lee Hawkins) and Sean Patrick McCann survive him, as well as his spouse Jalyne Bryant, ex-wife Stephanie McClain, sisters Mary Catherine (Barry) Bose and Ann Marie McCann (Todd Baker), grandchildren Lilliana Grace and Raidyn Victor McCann and Lyllie Godsey. Those that have gone before him are his parents, and Sean's mother Anna D. "Shonnie" Stevenson.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later time. Please send memorial contributions in honor of Patrick to the American Cancer Society.
