Peacefully, at his home on Wednesday, July 9, 2003. Dr. John A. (Jack) McCredie, MB, M,Ch. (Belf) F.R.C.S. (Eng. & Edin), F.R.C.S. (C), F.A.C.S. Beloved husband of Eithne (Ewing) McCredie, in his 80th year. Loving father of John and his wife Janet, Kevin and his wife Jennifer, Eithne McCredie and her husband Robert Wilson, Desmond and Ross. Dear grandfather of Brynn, Sean, Keira, Sarah, Geraldine, David, Sadie and Willie. Dear brother of Margaret McBride of Lisburn, Ireland. Dear brother-in-law of Sarah O'Kelly of Bangor, Ireland. Dr. McCredie was Emeritus Professor of Western Ontario. Recipient of the Jacksonian Prize from the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Author of 100's of scientific papers and the text book 'Basic Surgery' published by MacMillan Co. Numerous years volunteering, international assignment with CARE Medico. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Peter's Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue, London on Saturday morning at 9 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Friday evening at 7:30 o'clock.
