Warren E. Morey

Warren E. Morey Lansing Age 84, passed away June 25, 2009. Born in Holt, MI, the youngest of six children, to parents, William and Mabel Morey. He was preceded in death by his son, Brian. Warren is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Bobbie; and 4 sons, Jeff (Sue), Jerry (Cindy), Bruce (Karen), Dan (Yvonne); favorite niece, Pat (David) Amato. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Todd (Brandy), Greg (Chris), Amanda, Grant, Alex, and Daisy; along with four great-grandchildren; and special friend Houston Brown. Warren loved spending time up north at his lake-front cottage. It was a cottage he built with his sons. A special place, family and friends gathered to enjoy special moments with each other from morning coffee to lively card games. Warren was an avid sportsman, especially for traditional archery. He passed the passion for shooting and crafting bows onto his sons. Warren was blessed with a large family, many friends, a wife who loved him and a sense of humor he shared with all. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Stoneleigh Residence of Lansing for their compassionate care. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel, 520 E. Mt. Hope Ave., with Rev. Stephan Pribble officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Stoneleigh Residence, Lansing, MI.
