John Minyo Obituary
Formerly of Morningside on Saturday, August 30, 2008, age 70; beloved husband of Eleanor (Zavolta) Minyo; father of Maryjay Rush and husband Eric, Lisa Minyo, Tara Murrow and husband Allen, John Minyo II and wife Danielle and Suzanne Minyo; grandfather of Ryan, Trevor, Jaqueline, Hannah, Alex and Bella; brother of the late George Minyo and Veronica Vislosky; also survived by nieces and nephews. John was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police, the FOP Veteran's Association and the Masonic Lodge. Friends received at McCABE BROS., INC. FUNERAL HOMES, 6214 Walnut Street, Shadyside on Monday, 7-9 PM and Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. On Tuesday evening there will be a Masonic funeral service at 7:30 PM and a Fraternal Order of Police burial service at 8:15 PM. Funeral will commence at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 9:00 AM, followed by Mass of Christian Burial in St. Raphael Church at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery with Military Honors.
