Johnno only you could do this. You've been my friend for just 10 short years and I had to find out today of all days. Whatever you're up to today I suspect it involves a large glass of wine, the Kid, the Dog and I shall have one for you too. With love for always for everything that made you special. John, I only met you a few times, but as a member of many aero clubs in my past life, I recognised a true gentleman and a worthy and strong club President. You will be missed as a fellow aviator. To your family, may then accept my most sincere condolences. May you rest in peace. Doug Whitfield
