JOHN VICTOR "JACK"
Age 70, of Orrville, OH, formerly of Pittsburgh, died Wednesday, August 4, 2004. Services will be held at 10:00am on Monday, August 9, 2004, at St Agnes Catholic Church in Orrville. Friends may call on Sunday from 5-9PM at AUBLE FUNERAL HOME, in Orrville. Online registry and expressions of condolence may be made at the funeral home's web site at www.aublefuneralhome.com
Memorials may be made to the Orrville YMCA, 1801 Smucker Road, Orrville, OH 44667 or to the Orrville Area Boys and Girls Club Endowment Fund, 820 North Ella Street, Orrville, Ohio 44667. He was born on August 20, 1933, in Pittsburgh, PA to Harry and Gertrude (Brocke) Monheim and married Nancy Jean Gross on June 9, 1956, in Pittsburgh. He was a graduate of the University of Pgh with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and was employed by Westinghouse Electric Corporation for 33 years, retiring in 1990 as the US Operations Manager of the Combustion Control Division based at the Orrville plant. Surviving are his wife, Nancy Jean Monheim, daughters, Dr. Karen Monheim and Diane Amstutz, a son, Dr. John Monheim, eight grandchildren, all of Ohio, three brothers, David, James, and Robert Monheim, and a sister Helen Hauck of the Pittsburgh area. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Harry, Paul and William Monheim.
