John Morrison Obituary
John was a doting husband to his selfless wife Dale-Ann, a caring father to his amiable sons Justin (Kris), Nicholas (Jesse) and Mathew (Mallory). John was a loving brother to his sister Mary Jo (Domenic), brothers Lorne (Lorraine) and Doug (Pauline), and brother-in-law John (Maggi). Supportive uncle to nephews Jamie and Tyler, nieces Suzanne and Katelyn, and grandfather to Lyla. Best friend to Dave (Louise), and their children Kelly and Jeff. He is predeceased by his loving parents Ray and Zita.
John had many roles in his 30 years with the Peel Regional Police, the majority of which he spent teaching and guiding children in the community. Officer John, as he was known to the kids, was instrumental in the development and execution of the Reduce Abuse In Drugs (RAID) program. For many, John was a role model. Nothing made him happier than serving his community.
We, his family, are extremely proud of him and the life he chose to lead. The world needs more people like him. We miss him greatly, but we know he is finally at peace.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or the Terry Fox Foundation.
A celebration of life will be held at Le Tréport in Mississauga on November 5, from 5 to 9pm.

So very sad to hear this news. I was John's Hygienist for many years, and always enjoyed out chats. Such a nice man. May your memories give you all strength at such a sad time.

Sending my heartfelt condolences to the whole family. I fondly remember John as both the friendly, caring police officer who came into my school as a child and the fun-loving friend of my cousin, Dave, who always had a smile for everyone at family get-togethers. He will be dearly missed, but he definitely left a lasting, positive mark on many lives.

Dale-Ann and family, please accept our heartfelt condolences over the passing of John. We fondly remember growing up in a large extended family, and the many celebrations were enjoyed together. We remember John as a kind and gentle soul, and we are sadden to learn of his passing.
