NIXON 17th Anniversary
In memory of my dad John.
It's hard to write on paper the feelings deep inside,
Of a broken hearted daughter who has missed you since you died.
It was a morning that stunned me, I still can't believe it's true,
To lose a loving father in the way that I lost you.
A million times I needed you, a million times I cried,
If my love could have saved you, you never would have died.
My heart still aches with sadness, my secret tears still flow,
For what it meant to lose you dad, no one will ever know.
