PERE, John Julius Passed away peacefully, on August 29, 2010 at the age of 40 years with his family by his side. Loved by son John Cameron and daughter Shaina. Survived by wife Cathy. Loved by mom and dad, Marja and John, Sr., and by brother David and sister Liisa (Mike), sisters-and-brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, and aunts and uncles. Much loved by grandmother Hertta Sarkkinen, and by grandparents the late Helmi and Pekka Aikas. Julius followed his parents into the optical industry, and became an Optician, working most of his career at Rose City Optical, with some intervals at other optical establishments in Windsor. Visitation at the WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME (BANWELL CHAPEL) 11677 Tecumseh Rd East on Wednesday September 1, 2010 from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Thursday September 2, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the chapel. Pastor David Pistagnesi Officiating. Cremation to follow.
