JOHN "Jack" A.

of Warminster Twp., passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 24, 2019. He was 87 years old. Dear son of the late Anthony and Elizabeth Pergolin; beloved husband of Margaret (Peg) Pergolin; loving father of John A. Pergolin, Jr. (Toni), Meg Ferry (Owen) Michael A. Pergolin; Mary Jo Pergolin; and doting Pop Pop of Stephen and Timothy Pergolin, and Maura and Caitlyn Ferry. Jack was a proud graduate of St. Thomas Moore, Class of 1949, and St. Joseph's College, Class of 1956. He was also a proud Veteran of the US Navy and served during 1957 and 1958. He was the long time Financial Aid Director at St. Joseph's University where he impacted the lives of many students, parents and school alumni. Prior to his career at the University, Jack was a teacher and Athletic Director at Archbishop Wood High School. He was also a teacher and Head Varsity Basketball coach at Cardinal Dougherty High School where his 1964 team were the undefeated Catholic League champions. After retirement, Jack joined the staff of the J. Wood Platt Caddie Scholarship Trust as Director of Financial Aid. He was an active 50 year member of the St. Joseph,s Parish in Warrington, PA. Funeral Services for Jack will be held on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 11 A.M. at St. Joseph's Church, 1795 Columbia Ave., Warrington, PA 18976. Family will receive friends on Tuesday evening, January 29, 2019 from 6 to 8 P.M. at the Shelly Funeral Home, 1460 Easton Rd., Warrington, PA 18976, and again on Wednesday morning, from 9 A.M. to 10 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow at St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribu-tions may be made in Jack's memory to The Jack Pergolin Scholorship, c/o of Saint Joseph University 5600 City Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19131 or Catholic Charities Appeal, 100 N. 20th Street Phila., PA 19103.
