John Paul Perry, 83 year-old resident of Choctaw, Oklahoma, passed away on March 14, 2017 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Born February 6, 1934 in Bennington, Oklahoma, he was the son of Paul John Perry and Mildred Alice Pruitt Perry. John was an independent truck driver specializing in long-haul trucking all over the country. He loved doing yardwork; working on cars and trucks; dancing; and playing poker. John was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Delores Ann Perry in 2010. Survivors include 2 daughters, Paulette Pitt of Midwest City, Oklahoma; and Michelle Pruitt of Richmond, Virginia; 6 grandchildren; 2 brothers, David Perry of Bennington, Oklahoma; and Trent Perry of Bokchito, Oklahoma; 2 sisters, Virginia Jones and Verna Lee Stewart, both of Bennington, Oklahoma; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., OKC, OK, 73141 with Pastor Steve Eden officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole, Oklahoma. .
