John PESTKA Obituary
January 30, 1927 – November 5, 2015
Passed away at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, of which he was a proud supporter for many years through his volunteer work. Dearly beloved husband of Joan. He is survived by his niece Janet and her family. John was a long time employee of the Royal Bank of Canada as their Executive Chef. He was an avid golfer and member of the Carleton Golf & Yacht Club. When he wasn't golfing, he was tending the flowers in his gardens. Friends may call at the

on Sunday, November 8, 2015 from 2-4 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 9, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Martin de Porres Roman Catholic Church, 3891 Old Richmond Rd., Nepean. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to take place at Hutcheson Memorial Cemetery, Huntsville. To Joan,and Family members, My deepest sympathy. As a staff team member at Carleton Golf and Yacht Club,I had the pleasure to serve this Gentleman often,over many years. he was great to talk to,and I often "picked his brain" on culinary questions knowing of his knowledge in this field. May he rest in peace and may God's blessing be with him.
