Uncle John, I have fond memories of being little and hearing your laugh as I made my way downstairs grandpa's house on Christmas Eve. When I got older, on one Christmas Eve, you shared with me your love for the Lord and that you asked Him into your life. Although it stings that you are not here, there is a Peace that you are with our Savior and that this is just a goodbye for now because we have the Promise that we will see you again.

John, you are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom and democracy. The final battle is now over and peace has been restored. The final bugle has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation´s defender. Farewell fellow veteran. I still remember his laughter and his genuine smile at his granddaughter´s birthday party. His love for his children & grandchildren was undeniable. Rest In Peace John

I was so sad to hear about his passing. John or Mr. Pierro , as he will always be to me, was a great friend to my father and was there for him when he needed help. I also remember many good times in the pool or going in his VW Bug to Dairy Queen. All of you are in my thoughts.

I´ll always remember his big laugh! He was such a blast. Even when he was mad, he made me laugh.
