I am so thankful I stumbled upon this page. We have had so many great laughs watching Mr. Pinettes comedy shows. He had the ability to make anything funny. We had the pleasure of seeing Mr. Pinette live a couple of years before his passing. It was one of my favorite memories with my husband. God Bless your family I know John is making others laugh in heaven now.

Look at all of the accolades from month to month and year to year. They still keep coming. I hope that your family reads these from time to time and takes solace in the fact that you have affected so many of us, enriched our lives (for real) and have made us look at life just a little differently. You were the best. Thank you.

I benged watched Master Class Comedian John P. tonight.
Then I googled him. And then I read his Obituary. I'm sad he is gone. His content material delivery and timing was his inherent talent. His ability to verbalize a physical visual was blessed by his inherent personality. He used his physical appearance as the gift that gave the joy of laughter. Sadly; A long time gone...
Rest In Piece John.

To the Family of Mr. JOHN pinette.
I didn't come across Mr. Pinette untill long after he left us.
However, I have been blessed by his humor.
He was as you know one of a kind and the world is a much colder place without him
I find myself during a break from a classic rock gig to repeat partial skits he's done.
My entire family fell in love with him.
Im sorry to post this so long after but I just wanted to thank you.
I will NEVER get tired of watching him.
As far as I'm concerned he has NO EQUAL.

I have read a number of comments below and was surprised that my thought - "I wish I had known you!" Is expressed a number of times. I didn't know about him until a couple of years ago, I frankly feel cheated in life that I never got to meet him. He makes me laugh from the bottom of my soul - up! thank you so much - even 10 years after your passing. John!

When actors, singers and entertainers die there are always words about their talent, professionalism etc. It is very rare to see glowing tributes from those who knew you of what a wonderful and big hearted human being you were. The fact you are one of my favourite comics is a bonus. We are blessed to have seen your hilarious work and more blessed by your presence and kindness. Love also from Australia.

We are so sorry over such a great loss. My late brother-in-law in Massachusetts "introduced" us to Mr. Pinette. We never laughed so hard and so long. I saw John on tv as I walked into the living room when I came home from work. It turned out it was the last five minutes of the show and John was not identified since the show was almost over. I don't think I ever laughed harder. I feverishly researched to find out just who was that guy. When I found out I could not get enough of him. His facial expressions, delivery and his stories were just the best. He seemed to be such a kind man and genuine, clean humor is pretty hard to find. My father bought his dvd and was a huge fan. He was clearly the best and I just want to provide my thoughts and condolences to his family; what a wonderful man to make so many people happy.

I first heard John Pinette on Sirius radio in 2016. I couldn't wait to look up where he would be performing and get tickets. That's when I found out he had died. I literally cried for someone I didn't know. I listen to the recordings often. I laugh so hard every time at the Weight Watchers Buffet routine - even though I can say it word for word with him. I hope we meet in Heaven so I can thank him for all the joy he has brought me.

Hi again John, my second entry here. I just listened to one of my favorite bits of yours, beaver tails LOL. “I’m sure he’ll stop. I couldn’t and I didn’t!” I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for uplifting my spirits when I’ve needed it. You were so creatively original and totally clean humor too. Those of us who have struggled with dieting can so relate to your humor. We fans all miss you so much but we know God welcomed you with open arms and you’re keeping the angels laughing with two shows a night. Thank you for absolutely everything!

I had just recently started listening to John on You Tube. He immediately became my favorite. Not wanting to overlook any of his shows on You Tube, I did a search of his name and was shocked to see his obituary. Not only did he have great performances but he was just naturally funny.
He really had the gift of entertainment. "Gone too soon" is an understatement. He is sadly missed by many. My condolences go out to his family. I am so sorry you had to lose him at such a young age. May it give you comfort to know we mourn his passing too and our hearts ache for you.

Oh my favorite funny guy God needed you far too soon! It’s December 2022 and I’m very late in posting this but it’s so heartfelt nonethelessI had the privilege of seeing you live three times, first in a small comedy club here in Los Angeles where my face was literally in pain from laughing! Second time was in Las Vegas where I made a pilgrimage drive by myself specifically to see your show. You were recovering from the flu but that didn’t distract you from killing the audience that night! I didn’t even bother going to any other shows and I was there a couple days more due to car trouble. Third time was back at that same little club in Los Angeles. Anyway, blah blah.thank you so much for brightening my life, sweet man! I will always be a fan. And it thrills me to see that so many have stopped here to send condolences. Much love, Diana Lee, Tarzana, California

My deepest condolences and heartfelt prayers are still going out to his family. His stand up will keep him in our hearts and memories forever!
We live near Disney World and now every time I go the 1900 Park Fare buffet at Grand Floridian, constantly brings a tear to my eyes. It makes me think of his stand up routine of going on the family vacation in August to Walt Disney World. I know the Epcot death March well. I have a feeling had I ever had a chance to meet him, we would have become friends instantly! His real world comedy that people can relate to is rare and priceless! He will always live on thanks to his films and ingenious comedy!
We miss you John and wish you were still with us!

I was a fan of John's, I think of him often. Someone might say or do something and it'll remind me of John's sweet and insightful humor. Today someone baked a loaf of bread and I stole John's line - I said that looks like great bread. I said I know bread and I think you know I know bread. John's humor was funny that we shared with our then-5 year old and our 80 year old relatives. It spanned the ages. We saw John in Boston just a few months before he tragically passed. It must have been a privilege to be family or friends with this gentle, kind man who brought nothing but joy to those around him and to millions of others. I hope he is at peace, probably making crowds in Heaven laugh until they fall down.
