My condolences to the Prah family. John gave me my first after school job at Laramie Federal in 1968. He later brought me on as his controller. He always had a smile and a quickness to his step.

I am very sorry to hear about Johnny's passing. I have many good memories of John and our family parties when I was young. I remember when he was wounded in Korea and the heartache and worry it caused in the family and how happy people were when he returned. I am quite grateful for the financial consul he provided when my family was just starting. Although our visits were quite infrequent in the past 30 years, they were always very friendly and happy. My wife, Karen, and I offer our sincerest condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.

My Memories of John,
My favorite memory is of a time when I was 12 years old and my brother Fred & friends took me to a movie at the Chicago Theater. After the movie, I was forgotten and left at the theater. I was afraid to leave so I stayed hoping someone would come back for me. At midnight I was standing by the door, and when I saw John and Dorothy I was so relieved and thankful that they found me.
Another memory is when John took me golfing when I was 17 years old. I was thrilled to be asked to go golfing for the first time with my brother in law. How thoughtful of him to invite me.
Through the years John visited us in Arizona. We enjoyed attending spring training baseball games together.
I have always considered John more of a brother than a brother in law. He will be greatly missed and I loved him dearly.

I'm truly saddened to hear of Mr. Prah's passing. It's amazing that he took the time to stay in contact, by sending out annual Christmas Cards to most of his former employees from Cragin Fed Bank. Working for him was fun & he was a very caring individual. RIP, Mira & Michael Keyes
