I met John through our mutual friend Debbie Pauley. I so much enjoyed playing canasta and rook with him - and dinners - and his FUDGE. Thanks for the recipe. I plan to make it in his honor each Christmas. When playing cards he would name the teams `White Hats & Black Hats´, `Forces of Good and Forces of Evil´, etc. You can imagine which team he was on .... I loved! his stories and fun sense of humor and was totally in awe of his joke telling talent. Another connection I had with him was a love for animals; his stories about his pets were so endearing. Your dad will certainly be missed. Keep your memories of him vivid - he will be alive in your hearts forever.

John is going to be GREATLY missed. He's just the best neighbor ever. Always had something fun and exciting to tell you about and where he was off to next! He has been an icon in the neighborhood for years... from his signature yellow raincoat to taking Hagrid, Hermeini and Oso on thier daily ritual walks. It's just never going to be the same.
