Mary Woodman. Thank you for posting those pictures of our brother. That little grin of his always meant he was up to no good or getting ready to prank someone! Growing up with him was not always "fun" (he had a way of getting the pot stirred up just right!) but I would not change one thing about my childhood. He was a great brother, a kind hearted man and would do anything for anyone. One of my best memories of him is that smirk and watching what came next!!! Thank you again. I will miss him forever.

We had so many good times it is hard to tell them all. We had a Granddaughter that lived with us john loved her so much . He even changed her diapers and fed her her bottle . He taught me to stand up for what I believed and not let anyone tell you what to think or do. I will always love you john rowe

My big Brother, one of my favorite stories about John: John was a groomsman in my wedding, and being a Rowe, and a guy, we get weird random hairs that grow out of ears and the end of a nose, what-have-you. John shows up at my house a few hours before the service and he had tried to shave the hair off the end of his nose and sliced the layers of skin of his nose to the point it was bleeding and red. My wife to be at the time (that's another whole story) sat him down and applied make up and foundation to his nose. So, my big Brother was wearing make up in my wedding! I will forever miss him, he was a brother, a friend and a fiercely loyal protector! RIP I love You!

I remember John from our early years of life, as both of our fathers worked for the B&A Railroad and remained friends throughout our lives. Even though it's been years since we've seen each other, I keep your family close to my heart. Patricia Somers Madore
