Well it´s the two year mark of your passing. Mike and I still miss your calls and hearing your voice. It´s so unreal to us that you are gone from this sphere. But we are looking forward to a reunion in heaven, 50 years of friendship and memories are what we have left and we do remember all the great times.

hard to find words to speak how much I will miss rick. we had been talking for a couple of months about writing music together and had texted lyrics to start. i finished one and plafyed it for friends at a gathering and hope to do more. he will live on in all our hearts and lives thru the times he spent with us and taking care of his mom in her final years. I hope to come to Knoxville sometime to visit his final resting place. thanks for setting up this site so we can share with each other. he would like that. via con dios my friend

I met Rick while we were serving in the navy in 1973. We became life long friends he will be missed by everyone that knew him. I just wished he would have stayed a while longer

I met Rick in Pax River, Maryland while serving in the navy. We also were stationed together in Jacksonville, Florida. Rick and I remained friends after we were discharged from the navy. We visited each other many times during the last 45 years, and had planned on a get together on his way to Florida this year.
Rick had a heart of gold and touched many people in his life. He was a very talented musician, playing guitar and singing from the first time we met.
Rick will be missed by everyone he touched in his life. I just wish he would have stayed longer.

Rick was a friend for fifty years to my husband and I. We met in Jacksonville in the early seventies. We have many memories of him over the years. We played music together, laughed through the good times and cried through the bad. Rick truly had a heart of gold and was a true friend in life. His physical body will be missed but his spiritual body will be with all of his friends and family in our hearts forever. Rest peaceful dearest friend. We grieve for you and will always remember you.
