Sadly came across John´s obituary while wondering whatever became of my ECSU friend from forty years ago. Fondly recall his hilarious reggae version of "Gimme Three Steps". Not at all surprised to hear he had a taxi medallion, knowing his love of the written works by Hunter S. Thompson and Ken Kesey. Godspeed.

My sincere condolences to Cousin Winnie and her family. I’m very sorry to hear of his passing.

Beth, I hope you remember me from Superior Avenue. I am so sorry to hear about John's passing. He was a great friend and indeed a gentle soul. Smart and talented too. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. I hope you are happy and well.
