Salamon Family,
Please accept my condolences on John's passing. I was very shocked to hear of John's passing. I only have great memories of the times that we spent together. John would light up a room no matter what the circumstances were. John was the ultimate prankster that kept everyone that was around us looking over their shoulders at all times. John and I played football, baseball and basketball throughout our high school years. I was a year ahead of John but he always found ways to standout athletically on teams that were very talented be it from throwing a 90plus mile an hour fastball to knocking a 290 pound lineman off his feet. Unfortunately John and I lost contact after I moved away but reading some of the entries from some of the people that had the opportunity to be blessed by his presence he left a long lasting impression on them just as he did with me. There are only a handful of people who have an impact on peoples lives and John was one of those people. John you will be Truely Missed. God Bless.

Dear Johnny & Sherry,
We haven't seen you guys for so long, but we will never forget what really great people you are and we just didn't want to believe it when we saw "Little Johnny's" death notice. When we saw his name in the newspaper other times over the years, it was in the sports pages. And we would say "he always did love baseball". What a fun and good kid he was. Our deeply heartfelt sympathy goes out to you, Jill, John's girlfriend and to all the many friends that this wonderful young man obvious has. May John rest in peace. And may God bless you with strength and faith.
Love and prayers, Bob & Linda Klodawski

Mr & Mrs Salamon and Jill,
It was so good to see you all the other evening but under the worse circumstance possible. John was a big part of my teen age life up through college. He was the only person that I could think of to call if I was in a bad mood and needed to smile. I am sad that we lost touch and he will always have a special place in my heart. I am so so sorry for your loss. The world lost a great guy and you lost a great son. I will always keep your family in my prayers.

To the Salamon Family--Our son Matt Schaefer and John spent a lot of time together in their "wilder" years, and we seem to recall a trip to South Beach, Florida, which was memorable for them in many ways. We would like to think that they kept in touch as they lived their separate lives on opposite ends of this nation. Matt died at age 36, on January 7 of this year, after battling leukemia for 2 years. Two beautiful men now in heaven, spreading their wings over us until we meet them one day. Our prayers are with you---we know what you feel right now.

October 2, 2009

Dear Sherry and Family: I dont know if you remember me, but I grew up next door to you there on Barbera Drive, I heard about the passing of your very handsome son, and wanted to express my sincere sympathy on behalf of me and my sisters and brother.
