Dear Mrs. Sandner, Steve, Jann, & Jill,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Dr. Sandner was such a special part of life in Burnet; he was admired and respected by everyone. As you probably remember, he and my mother served on the school board together and accomplished so much for Burnet ISD, even through some rather difficult times if I remember correctly. I'm sure you've heard from hundreds of people about getting their first eye exam and first pair of glasses from him and the same goes for me, too. But I also want to add that when I was learning how to square dance (jr high & held at the old Legion Hall), Dr. Sandner was my partner! He was so kind and patient and made it a lot of fun for a very tall & very shy 12-yr. old. I was very fortunate that he was a part of my life growing up in Burnet. I know you miss him very much.
With kindest condolences,
Frances Seidensticker Dodds

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. Dr. Sandner did my first eye exam when I was six and seemed really glad that I didn't need glasses. He always seemed so kind. He will be missed.
