My condolances to Scott's family. I first met Scott when we were 5 years old at St. Brigid School. We both went to St. X and Bellarmine. We were in the Boy Scouts together and at age 13-14 we spent 30 days traveling the west. It was a great adventure and I'm sure Scott told you about it. As the years passed we saw each other occasionally and then about 20 years ago a bunch of us from St. Brigid got together monthly for Supper and that ended about a year ago. Scott always talked about his family that he loved. I talked to hime about 3 or 4 weeks ago and we always talked about the "old days and old friends".You will miss him, but I hope you will keep fishing, love Kentucky Basketball and be the outspoken free spirit that Scott was. He's finally at peace and no doubt looking over his "BOYS". Scott was a great king hearted person, my condolances to all of you! Mike Platt

The world lost a great guy with the passing of Scotty. His friendship with my father Joe Gravatte meant a great deal to my family. I'm sure Dad was waiting at the pearly gates with a tee time ready for Scotty. Through that friendship I got to hear wonderful stories about Scotty's youth, his sons, his career, fishing & golfing, UK sports, and finally Patsy. You always knew when Scotty was around! So condolences to his loved ones and thanks for sharing Scotty with the rest of us...breathe easy now & rest in peace...

We were all sad to hear about Uncle Scott and so sorry for everyone's loss. He was so nice. We got to go fishing with him a few times, many years ago and we all had so much fun!
