My condolances to Scott's family. I first met Scott when we were 5 years old at St. Brigid School. We both went to St. X and Bellarmine. We were in the Boy Scouts together and at age 13-14 we spent 30 days traveling the west. It was a great adventure and I'm sure Scott told you about it. As the years passed we saw each other occasionally and then about 20 years ago a bunch of us from St. Brigid got together monthly for Supper and that ended about a year ago. Scott always talked about his family that he loved. I talked to hime about 3 or 4 weeks ago and we always talked about the "old days and old friends".You will miss him, but I hope you will keep fishing, love Kentucky Basketball and be the outspoken free spirit that Scott was. He's finally at peace and no doubt looking over his "BOYS". Scott was a great king hearted person, my condolances to all of you! Mike Platt

Our thoughts & prayers are with you all. I imagine he & my Dad are reminiscing about golf played together.

The world lost a great guy with the passing of Scotty. His friendship with my father Joe Gravatte meant a great deal to my family. I'm sure Dad was waiting at the pearly gates with a tee time ready for Scotty. Through that friendship I got to hear wonderful stories about Scotty's youth, his sons, his career, fishing & golfing, UK sports, and finally Patsy. You always knew when Scotty was around! So condolences to his loved ones and thanks for sharing Scotty with the rest of us...breathe easy now & rest in peace...

We were all sad to hear about Uncle Scott and so sorry for everyone's loss. He was so nice. We got to go fishing with him a few times, many years ago and we all had so much fun!

One of the finest humans I'll ever know. Very sad to hear about Unk's passing, but at the same time I'm happy for him and his Sons and other loved ones. Uncle Scott Schroering made my life better in so many ways. I'm going to miss your good nature , care and humor. Love you and your family always.
