John Anthony Serafini, 80, passed away on July 12, 2024, in Boca Raton, FL. Born on September 20, 1943, in Bradford, PA, he was the son of Antonio and Assunta Serafini. John graduated from Saint Bernard Catholic School and furthered his education at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, which paved the way for his successful career as a Commercial Art Director.

John was a man of many passions, including his lifelong love for athletics, Italian culture, and his cherished pets. His career allowed him to blend his creative skills with his professional life, bringing him much joy and fulfillment.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ginger Serafini; his son, Christopher Serafini (Tamara); daughters, Corinne Serafini and Haley Bianucci (Tony); and grandchildren, John (Gabriella), Will, Carissa, Bella, Gabby, and Carter. He was preceded in death by his brother Rudy, sister Rosie, and his parents.

John was known for his love for family, animals, and good Italian food. He enjoyed watching Fox News and spending time with his family, who will remember him as a loving and dedicated family man.

No services are currently planned. Celebrations of life will be determined at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Florida Humane Society, Inc., a no-kill shelter, at floridahumanesociety.org, or to an animal rescue of your choice in memory of John.

John was EVERYONE'S friend. There was no limit to what he would do for you, if you were in need. I was told several years ago, that one will meet 5 people in their life, that will make you a better person and will change how you approach life and make you a better person.

Dear Serafini Family,
I'm so sorry for your loss. John and I have been friends for about 25 years since I used to sell him books from our bookstore. I loved having lunch with him every time I visited Florida and catching up on his family, softball, FBI stories, etc.
He was a great guy and will be missed.
Sincerely,
Mike Paper

Dear Serafini family. I am truly so sorry. Please accept my condolences. Johnny was a neighbor, friend and team mate. We spoke over the phone on many occasions. We talked about the good old days of growing up in the fifth Ward in Bradford. God Bless You all.

Dear Ginger. Corinne, Chris, and family.
My heart is broken. John has been a life-long friend to Jim and me. We have had so many good times together and laughed ourselves silly.
I hope he and Jim are up in heaven having a good laugh about old times.
My heartfelt sympathy. Love and prayers to all of you.
Loretta Bushey and family.

It is sad to hear of John´s passing. Having spent time with John and the guys going to the gym , I can truly say he was a great guy to call a friend. He always had a kind word. He was a man who I could joke with as well as having a serious conversation. Michelle and I will miss him. We express our sadness and condolences to Ginger and their family.
