John was born on June 13, 1949 and passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017. John was a resident of Latham, New York at the time of his passing. Jack was a graduate of St. Brigid's School and Watervliet High School, class of 1968 where he excelled at football, basketball and baseball. He was a veteran of the US Army National Guard. He was married to Marianne Flavin Shellard. The funeral service will be Saturday at 10 am at the Bowen & Parker Bros. Funeral Home, 97 Old Loudon Road, Latham, followed by the interment of Jack's ashes at Memory's Garden in Colonie. To the Shellard children. I knew both of your parents at Niagara Mohawk for many years. We raised a lot of hell in our younger days. Lots if fun! They are both wonderful people and are back together again. They were a great pair. I'm sure you all have wonderful memories. Those memories will keep them close.
