John E Shreve

John Shreve was born in Alberta, Canada on May 1, 1921 and became a naturalized U.S. Citizen in 1943. He proudly served in the U.S. Army
defending our country during WWII.

In 1983, after retiring from a successful career with PG&E Company where he worked for 36 years, he began pursuing a lifelong desire to
explore his artistic ambitions. Enrolling at West Valley College in Saratoga, California, John studied various art mediums until it soon became clear
his interest and talent was in hand sculpting with clay.

John's self-sculpted collection of over 300 faces is on display in his garage. He approximated it took about 60 hours to complete one piece.

John enjoyed a very contented life in Roseville Sun City, where he was also an avid golfer until his death on October 31, 2015. He is survived by
his loving wife of 48 years, Janice, daughter, Gwendolyn Pol, and three grandsons, Brandon Hassur, Devin Pol and Justin Shreve and two
granddaughters, Megan and Rebecca Hassur. He was preceded in death by his son, Rodney Shreve of San Jose, and his brother, Guy Shreve
of Folsom.

A memorial will be held at Lambert Funeral Home, 400 Douglas Blvd., Roseville, CA 95678 on December 4, 2015 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers,
donations to Hanna Boys Center, P.O. Box 100, Sonoma, CA 95476 or to your favorite charity.
