JOHN B. Sr. 76 of Parkesburg died Friday May 21, 2004 husband of Pauline Nixon States, survived by one son John B. States Jr. 3 gradnchildren ; Paula Misenko, John M. States and Nichole Albright. one great grandchild Lukas Misenko 3 sisters; Isabelle Jones, Roberta Ruth and Thelma Boddy, He was preceded in death by paul C. States Funeral Services will be held Thurs. May 27, at 1 P M from the WILDE FUNERAL HOME 434 Main St. Parkesburg pa Int. Mt. Zion Cem. Atglen, pa Family and friend may call at the funeral home on Thurs. from 12 noon to time of service. Memorial donatuion to the Atglen Fire Co. PO Box 189 Atglen pa 19310.

Dear Family & friends,
I was in total shock when I heard of John's passing. He was a beloved friend of mine and many others. He would do anything for his friends and family and never had a bad word to say about anyone. Judy of Turkey Hill gave me the terrible news a week after and I was in total shock. What a great friend, father, grandfather & husband. He will certainly be missed. I just lost my 22 year old son in a car accident on 6/6/04 and pray that God holds them both in the palm of his hand.
