I was not not away of John's passing. Polly, I will always be grateful for your love and support the two of you gave me personally and professionally. Rest in Peace "Dirk Savage" you touched the lives of many with humor, care, concern...a true gentleman. I wonder if John gave Saint Peter a helmet when he entered the pearly gates!!

During the 3 short years we lived next door you and Polly were the best neighbors ever. Be at peace John.

I will forever be grateful to John for making life so wonderful for Polly, my sister. His goodness knew no bounds and he will always be remembered as a "gentleman"..in the true sense of the word. John will live on in our hearts and we will all be re-united one day. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Polly and his family. Thank you, John for many years of fun, frivolity and loving care.

Polly and John lived across the street from my parents for many years. I have so many great memories; their neighborhood gatherings, John's crazy plaid Holiday pants, the warmth of their hospitality, the lifetime of exciting stories of travel and Air Force adventures -- all related with John's great sense of humor. Polly and John's zest for life and love for each other is an inspiration. He will be long remembered.

John's sister Natalie worked for my father in Dallas. She was a fun lady to be around and spent many hours at our home. John came over, too. Loved it when John Tower went swimming after a long day of partying. I was fortunate to know so many Elmira Sullivan's.
