John Tarolli Obituary
John graduated from Solvay High School and continued his education at Eastern Michigan University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in 1951. Following college, he served with the US Army's 502nd Infantry Airborne Division during the Korean War from 1952-1954.
John was a well-known home builder and developer in the Syracuse area for over 50 years. He was Chairman of the Board at Geddes Federal Savings and Loan from 2001-2007, and was a member of their Board of Directors and appraiser since 1971, for 41 years. His true passion in life was to serve the Lord, as evidenced by his generous heart, constant devotion to Christ, and the God fearing legacy he left for his family. He was predeceased by his brother, Edward Tarolli.
John is survived by his doting wife of 58 years, the former Jean Pazzaglia, son and daughter-in-law; Forrest and Gina, granddaughters; Elise, Chelsea and Hannah, sister; Eleanor Cefaratti, brothers; Richard and Eugene, and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 pm Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Community Tabernacle, 2515 W. Genesee St., Syracuse. Funeral services will be held 9:30 am Thursday, August 27, 2015 at Community Tabernacle. Burial with military honors will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners.

Comune Castel Condino

Castel Condino is a little village in the North of Italy where live many Tarolli's Family. We are sure that John is a son of Castel Condino, because during the 18th century and after the first world war numerous Tarolli's and Bagozzi's Family left Castel Condino and for many we don't know anithing about them. The municipality and the community of Castel Condino express deep condolences to John's family.

Forrest and Gina, so very sorry to hear of your father's passing. I loved having the opportunity to get so close with your family...thank you. You father was a wonderful man and adored his family. I will miss seeing him, Richie and Eugene picking on each other...they really made me laugh. He will be deeply missed. Please know that he holds a special place in my heart, as do all of you. We will alwaye remember you Uncle John....and I have found memories of my childhood ...picking cherries from your tree....and playing with your boxer.....you will always be in my heart. We all will experience the loss of a loved one or friend, and it's never easy. What is easy, is remembering the good times that you've had with them. From the first day I met John 24 yrs. ago, he always had a smile and a few minutes to chat, which always ended up with some good laughs. That will always be easy for me to remember about John.
